Many times, the first priority to go when planning a wedding is the food.
The food your serve is one of the most important elements of your wedding day! After all, you are throwing the most special dinner party of your life. There are several different styles you could choose when planning for your wedding meal, and we don't think you can go wrong with any of them!
1. Plated, Seated Dinner. This is the most formal and classic style dinner that you could serve. These types of dinners take lots of coordination between your vendors and it will cost you!
2. Buffet Style. Over half of our brides and grooms choose this option. This style allows your guests to choose whatever foods they prefer and also still offers a very classy look.
3. Food Stations. This is a newer style that we have grown to love! These stations are typically chef attended and much more interactive with your guests. When you choose this style, there will be lots of variety for your guests to choose from, which is a win-win!
4. Cocktail Reception. This option offers lots of heavy hors d'oeuvres for your guests to choose from. While this style is beautiful, be sure to have lots of options for your guests to choose from. They get tired of seeing the same 2 foods passed around.
Whatever you choose, don't skimp on this! It's important to have plenty of food. Over 98% of weddings are scheduled for the evening and your guests are expecting to eat. We all know what its like to leave an evening wedding hungry and a little grouchy. Don't let this be the case for your guests and plan your budget accordingly. Whatever you do, we know it will be fabulous.
Happy Wedding Planning!
